Cephalotus Follicularis
Native to south west Australia, these are a unique plant with very strange traps. These capture & digest prey in a very similar way to a standard sarracenia but are more low growing & clumpy.
To care for these is similar to any other temperate carnivorous plant, however they don’t specifically need a dormancy period. I’ve had these grow without issue in a unheated polytunnel through the hottest & coldest months. Their growth does of course slow down during winter and a few traps and leaves by die back. However, in the spring these grow traps quite quickly.
Water from the bottom with rain water.
Requires full sun.
